Taken earlier today, a general view of competitors preparing for their heat during the morning’s action at the Aquatic Centre, Abbotstown. The championships double up as Olympic trials. Yesterday, Gráinne Murphy came agonisingly close to breaking Michelle de Bruin’s long-standing national 200m freestyle record.
