Have been a massive Muse fan ever since Showbiz came out. Seen them live a multitude of times (I think 7 now?) and they are without doubt the best live band on the planet. Fantastic musicians and probably the most talented band of this generation. However, this song is not where near their best. In fact, I go as far to say that it’s fairly pants. It may grow on me but at the minute this is far too “My Heart Belongs To You” and a million miles away from “Citizen Erased”. This is a band that produced B-sides like “Easily” (check it out!) only a few years ago like. This is hardly the best they could do?!?!

Love it!!! Muse are amazing and this song is perfect for the olympics…so glad they chose a band of proper musicians as opposed to some crap boy band like one direction :-)

This is by far the worst thing Muse have ever recorded. The prelude is decent but the song as a whole is an absolute embarrassment.

Just listened to muse Olympic Anthem on you tube it is complete shite! Always loved muse’s music but that is just rubbish! And don’t see how it will inspire any athlete to win anything
