A number of roads in Swords will be closed on a rolling basis from 6am to 12.00 noon due to the Fingal 10k Road Race.
THE SOUTHBOUND LANES of the M8 motorway have been closed due to an oil spillage on the road.
The closure affects the whole area between Junction 3 near Abbeyleix, Co Laois and Junction 8 near Cashel, Co Tipperary. It’s expected the road will be closed for a number of hours.
Diversions are in place and motorists have been advised to use alternative routes.
The incident involving a car and tractor/trailer occurred at 3.30 this afternoon.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene following a single vehicle crash this morning.
Two of the children are being treated for minor injuries following a crash on the Strand Road which is partly closed.
AN OVERTURNED truck is blocking the N4 Dublin to Sligo road at Kinnegad. The truck is being removed but junction 13 at Correllstown will be closed till 11. Gardaà are advising motorists to exit at junction 12.
