Those infernal blisters again.

RICHARD DUNNE PLAYED no part in training with Ireland on Monday, following Sunday night’s 3-1 defeat at the hands of Croatia in Poznan.

The Aston Villa defender appeared to be limping at the end of the match and watched on from the sidelines on Gdynia.

In his press conference on Monday evening, manager Giovanni Trapattoni confirmed that the former Manchester City captain is “fine, it’s just blisters.”

Trapattoni put the Irish players through a gentle training session on the morning after a disappointing night in Poland.

The Italian will now hope that Dunne, who was far from at his best against Mario Mandzukic, Nikica Jelavic et al, recovers in time to face Spain on Thursday.
