TODAY’S CARD AT a very wet Punchestown has been given the go-ahead this morning after the track passed a precautionary inspection.

Course officials checked conditions at 8am ahead of the fourth day of the festival meeting.

And though the conditions remain heavy, it’s fit for racing, they said in a statement.

The five-race card gets underway at 4.55pm with Hurricane Fly the star attraction in the  Champion Hurdle, one of three Grade One events on the card.
