Punchestown cleared to go ahead after inspection

TODAY’S MEETING AT Punchestown will go ahead after an inspection of the track this morning.

Yesterday’ meeting at the Co Kildare venue was cancelled but conditions have improved sufficiently to race, officials say.

The going is reported to be heavy for an eight-race card which features three Grade Three contests. The first goes at 1.45pm.
