In all seriousness, I am disgusted by this mans inclussion in our team, at the expence of the man who actually won us our qualifying place! I have never boo’d a sports person or team before, But this could change. I’m still not convinced by the odd circumnstances surrounding his involvement. It’s an appalling injustice. As a country we have been shown to cheat at Banking, Planning, Tax Avoidance, Politics, charitable organisations, Church Practices and now sports. We are as citizens all tarnished as cheats and liars as a result of a few wealthy and priveliged people. Shame on them.

It’s a complete farce, the minute I saw he wasn’t on the team, I said, watch this space, they didn’t let me down. It can’t buy u love but it’s handy for everything else.

Yes he was disqualified but the ruling was that there was no suspicion of intending to improve the performance of the horse. That is why is received a three month suspension and not two years.

Do most people realise the substance o’connors horse was tested positive for wasn’t even drug enhancing, it was thought to be part of medicine that a vet prescribed to the horse a month before the games. You can believe what you like about the b sample and o’Connor but there was absolutely no intent in cheating and unfortunately he got caught out with this trace of a banned (non performance enhancing) substance and for that he paid the price. He fully deserves to compete.
