FOR GIOVANNI TRAPATTONI and the Republic of Ireland, the maths are simple.

A point at home against Armenia tonight and we’ll guarantee our spot in the Euro 2012 play-offs; lose and we’re out.

It’s the very definition of “do or die”, and with the visitors showing some impressive form in recent weeks, there are quite a lot of nails being bitten around the country this afternoon.

So, with just over six hours to go until kick-off in the Aviva, we want to know how optimistic you’re feeling.

Is this to be another step forward for Trap and the boys in green or should we start preparing our tear-stained headlines for the morning?
