A SMALL PLANE carrying 14 people has crashed in Nepal, about 50km from capital Kathmandu. The plane crashed en route to Lukla, considered the entry point to Mount Everest. Six foreign tourists are believed to have been on board, but no further information has been released yet. A rescue operation is underway, but is being hampered by the bad weather blamed for the crash.
