Munster 29-11 Treviso (FT)

20.30 – Treviso are putting in a dogged performance and frustrating Munster at the moment. The closest they’ve come was a disallowed O’Gara try following a forward pass from Murray.

20.50 – O’Gara misses his first penalty of the evening. He’ll be disappointed as, even though it was from a tricky angle, it’s a relatively light wind out there (or so I’m reliably informed anyway).

20.5610-6: It’s 2 from 2 for Burton, who brings Treviso to within four points of Munster with an excellently-taken penalty.

21.08 – Having dominated for large periods of that first half without scoring, Munster will perhaps go in at the break a tad relieved: Treviso could easily have scored a try if they spread the ball to the wings quicker in the last action of the half, and hit the post with the subsequent penalty that they were awarded.

21.20 – Treviso are continuing to frustrate Munster in this second half. Is there potential for a second Italian victory over an Irish side today?

21.24 – “I’m the referee, not you,” Nigel Owens condescendingly tells Botes, followed by a “this is not soccer” warning. Harsh.

21.37

(Mafi is tackled by Sgarbi – INPHO/Dan Sheridan)

21.56 – By the way, in case anyone’s wondering, the Scarlets beat Glasgow 16-14 in the other RaboDirect Pro12 game played today.

21.59TRY FOR MUNSTER!
