‘Delighted as a fan we got the win. Personal level #fuming’ – McClean

The Sunderland winger was as unimpressed as the majority of Ireland fans this evening.

JAMES MCCLEAN DID not mince his words following Ireland’s hugely underwheming performance against Kazakhstan this evening.

Following their fortunate 2-1 win against a side ranked number 142 in the world, the winger tweeted: “Delighted as a fan we got the win.. Personal level #fuming”.

McClean had previously risked upsetting Trapattoni by tweeting that he was fully fit to play, despite the Italian manager opting to pick Simon Cox ahead of him on the wing tonight.

And this latest tweet is likely to land McClean in hot water, despite the winger deleting it minutes after he had posted it.
