Here’s your ‘Tommy Bowe injury update’ pic of the day

He’s gonna be okay, folks.

AFTER HYPER-EXTENDING HIS knee and suffering lateral knee ligament damage on Saturday, Tommy Bowe had surgery on the problem today.

He says it went well, here’s the proof.

The winger sustained the injury after he broke clear on the right wing in the latter stages of Ulster’s first defeat of the season before landing awkwardly as he was tackled.

He still managed to pop an offload away, mind, and his efforts resulted in a penalty chance for Ruan Pienaar. Although the long wait while Bowe was stretchered off may have played a part in knocking the Springbok out of his kicking rhythm.
