FANS OF ESPN’S critically-acclaimed ’30 for 30′ will be delighted to hear it will be back with a new set of sports documentaries.

The original plan was to produce 30 films to mark three decades of the US television network’s existence and a wide range of moving stories were told with the help of several renowned directors.

Now it has been confirmed that another batch will be made to be broadcast over a 2-year spell.

“When we embarked on ’30 for 30,’ we always wondered if there would be 30 good stories,” ESPN Films vice president and executive producer Conor Schell told The New York Times.

Now, I think all of us in this group believe that there is an infinite number of stories.”

Here’s a clip of one of the documentaries, ‘The Announcement’, which focuses on the press conference which Magic Johnson told the world he was HIV-positive and premiered last month.
