David Walsh: I’d accept an apology from Lance Armstrong

“I’d apologise to David,” the shamed rider told Oprah Winfrey last night.

LAST NIGHT IN the second part of her interview with Lance Armstrong, Oprah Winfrey asked the disgraced cyclist if he’d apologise to David Walsh.

Today, the Sunday Times journalist says he’d accept any apology from the Texan.

“Oprah pressured him,” the Irish writer said on his Twitter page, “the apology was, I thought, hesitantly promised. I didn’t ask for it, or expect it, but, yes, if it’s offered, I accept.”
