The ‘stamp’ that saw Brian O’Driscoll sin-binned in possibly his last game for Ireland

Wayne Barnes sent O’Driscoll to the bin as Ireland limped through the first half against Italy.

IF THIS AFTERNOON’S game in Rome is to be Brian O’Driscoll’s final one for Ireland, it’s not exactly turning out to be a fitting farewell.

O’Driscoll was sin-binned in the first half after referee Wayne Barnes saw this stamp as worthy of a yellow card.

Ireland lost 22-15.
