TYRONE WILL TAKE on Ulster rivals Monaghan or Armagh in the standout tie after the draw this morning for Round 2 of the All-Ireland senior football qualifiers.

Monaghan and Armagh finished all square in Saturday night’s Ulster semi-final with the teams set to replay their encounter next weekend. The losers will have to take on Mickey Harte’s side in a qualifier tie that will be played on Saturday July 12th.

The new qualifying system this year sees the draw split into Round 2A and Round 2B. The four games in Round 2A will take place on Saturday July 5th with the four games in Round 2B pencilled in for Saturday July 12th.

Round 2B has produced the standout pairings with Cavan taking on Roscommon in a repeat of their recent Division 3 league final meeting while Kildare must bounce back from yesterday’s Leinster semi-final loss to Meath by playing Down.

The draw in full is:

Round 2A: Wexford v Laois; Tipperary v Longford; Limerick v Antrim; Wicklow v Sligo.

Round 2B: Carlow v Clare; Cavan v Roscommon; Tyrone v Monaghan/Armagh; Down v Kildare.
